LTC Local Refinement Consultation taking part
The LTC Local Refinement Consultation launches at 00:01 on Thurs 12th May and will run 5.5 weeks until 23:59 on Mon 20th June 2022. Here we provide info on taking part.
How to find out more
You can find an index of all Thames Crossing Group updates relating to the consultation here. We’ll also be doing our best to answer questions via social media and at community forum meetings etc where possible.
NH Online
The LTC Local Refinement Consultation materials will be released on the National Highways website at 00:01 on Thurs 12th May 2022. There should be numerous consultation materials online, you will be able find a complete list of them either on the NH website or on our consultation updates index once they are released.
NH Telephone surgery
Call 0300 123 5000 from 12th May to book a call back from a member of the project team to discuss any questions you have on the proposals.
NH Home delivery
For cost and environmental reasons, HE are encouraging everyone to access the consultation materials online. However, if you have limited or no access to the internet you can ask for a printed copy to be delivered to your home free of charge.
You can request printed copies via the NH website, email or call 0300 123 5000.
All pre-ordered packs (ie ordered before consultation launched) should have arrived by now, and new orders should be delivered within 2-4 working days.
Please bear in mind that every individual in the household is entitled to submit their own individual response (including children), so you may want/need to request more than one copy of the response form for each member who wishes to respond. Please ensure you request the number of copies you need for your household everyone has a right to respond.
NH/LTC have stated that a Braille version of consultation documents will be available on demand. Audio options are also available upon request.
Arrangements are also being made to hold British Sign Language (BSL) online sessions, explaining the Project and supporting those in the affected communities with hearing difficulties to respond to the consultation. We will update as NH/LTC provide details.
For those online please do try to help out those who are not online by alerting them to the fact there is a consultation, and help them get copies of the consultation materials if they need a helping hand. Together we are stronger! Thanks
